Visual Chaos app for iPhone and iPad

With this app you can explore certain kinds of chaos permeating everyday life. You can play with it and see how chaos turns in to order and how strange and beautiful patterns emerge.

The app makes use of the Ising model from statistical physics. It simulates evolution of two-dimensional grid of interacting cells using Metropolis algorithm. The app may be used to demonstrate emergence of magnetic properties, the nature of critical temperature and phase transitions.
